School Based Youth & Community Education Programs

CHH offers various youth education programs. All education programs include the CHH mascot Scrubs. Scrubs is a white Samoyed puppy. A mascot volunteer will wear the Scrubs costume and attend youth education sessions. "Scrubs" will visit schools, day-care centers, other non-profits, community centers, etc. Program educators will teach kids about various topics, including, but no limited to age appropriate:

• Personal hygiene
• Healthy food choices
• Safety awareness
• Exercise and physical education
• General health and wellness
